Controller

Data we process

We process the name, contact channels, property requirements, owner-supplied property facts, messages and pending-review photographs you submit. When a form is sent, we also process the IP address, timestamp, referring and landing pages, UTM details, browser-provided country/city and random enquiry or chat identifiers for security, attribution and follow-up. A place entered in map search is sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim at your request.

Purposes and legal bases

We process data to answer enquiries, take pre-contract steps and deliver requested property services; for legitimate interests in abuse prevention, system security, service handover and quality; and where needed for accounting, tax, regulatory or dispute obligations. Optional analytics relies on consent. The website does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing.

Xiao Ou property assistant

Xiao Ou prepares property replies using reviewed public knowledge or safe templates from OULANG's business system. A conversation is sent to an approved automated-reply provider only when that integration is configured; contact details are hidden before generation where possible. A reply is shown as successful only after the turn is recorded, where an advisor can continue the conversation. Do not submit passports, bank accounts, original contracts or other sensitive documents.

Recipients and international processing

Data is available only to the responsible OULANG team and necessary processors, including website hosting/CDN, OULANG's business system, an approved automated-reply provider when enabled, OpenStreetMap and Google Analytics after consent. Where processing occurs outside the EEA, applicable transfer safeguards must be used. Public property pages receive only approved public coordinates and content.

Retention

The website does not create a second customer or property business database. OULANG's business system retains enquiries, chats and owner material according to the service need, relationship duration, applicable limitation periods and legal duties, then deletes or anonymises them. Accepted photographs become part of the relevant business record; rejected or withdrawn pending material is cleared under the business retention schedule. Security logs are retained only for the period needed for diagnostics and abuse prevention.

Cookies and optional analytics

Search, favourites and basic attribution use local or session browser storage and are not cross-site advertising tracking. Google Analytics is not loaded by default; it is loaded and may set analytics cookies only after you choose “Allow analytics”. You can withdraw below at any time, and refusal does not affect property search or enquiries.

Your rights and contact

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may withdraw analytics consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Contact: privacy@oulang.com
