AREA GUIDES

Understand the area before choosing the property

Different areas suit different lifestyles, commutes and ownership goals. These guides are a starting point, not a substitute for property-specific planning, legal or technical checks.

CHOOSING AN AREA

Look beyond the area name

Within one city, a different street, building or property use can change the living and investment experience.

01

Daily life & commute

Start with the real weekly routine, not map distance alone.

  • Public transport and driving time
  • Year-round amenities
  • Noise, gradient and walkability
02

Property & building

Building condition matters beyond size and bedroom count.

  • Age, renovation and common areas
  • Light, orientation and energy
  • Lift, parking and maintenance
03

Use & transaction

A home, rental or commercial purchase needs different checks.

  • Permitted use and current lease
  • Works and delivery condition
  • Legal, technical and notarial review

AREA COMPARISON

Compare your preferred areas side by side

Choose two or three areas and compare lifestyle, transport, property character and viewing priorities without relying on broad averages or promotional return claims.

How streets can differ
Walkability, building maintenance, noise and the exact street can materially change the living experience.

  • Exact street and walkability
  • Common areas and lift
  • Light, noise and renovation condition
02

Coastal living and new development

How streets can differ
Distance to the sea is not enough—transport, year-round convenience, view obstruction and build quality also matter.
Viewing priorities
  • Real sea distance and outlook
  • Marine exposure and maintenance
  • Delivery risk and surrounding works
03

Northern metropolitan centre

Thessaloniki

Who it may suit
Buyers considering Greece’s northern metropolitan market for living or long-term demand
How streets can differ
Assess the micro-area together with building age, heating, parking and year-round rental demand.
Viewing priorities
  • Micro-area and university/business links
  • Heating and energy performance
  • Parking and public transport

Area comparison helps narrow the search, but streets, buildings and individual homes can differ significantly. A final choice should reflect the specific property, an on-site visit and professional advice.

ALL OF GREECE

Coverage across all 13 regions of Greece

Start nationally, then narrow to a city and neighbourhood. Public search uses approved geography and never exposes an owner’s private address.

AREA QUESTIONS

From a Greek region to the exact street

01Why are all 13 regions searchable but only some have detailed guides?

All regions can be searched. Detailed guides focus on markets where customer demand and our ability to maintain useful content are strongest, instead of publishing thin pages at scale.

02Does a map marker show the exact address?

Not always. The map uses only the approved public location level. A precise address is shared only when authorised or needed for the service.

03Can I search an area with no public listings?

Yes. An empty public list does not mean there are no opportunities; an advisor can continue checking the partner network against your brief.

Not sure where to begin?

Share your budget, purpose and timing and an advisor will help make the brief precise.
